Pierce Denharco: Progress Report.

With the recent acquisition of Denharco, Pierce Pacific Manufacturing is committed to continue the same quality and service in the manufacturing of Denharco forestry products that we have provided since 1931. We are continuing the complete Denharco product line without design change, all under the Pierce Denharco name.

Since the acquisition in April, we have translated thousands of engineering designs, aggressively replenished a depleted inventory, integrated Denharco business/infrastructure, hired appropriate sales and product support representatives, manufactured structures, and now, building finished products. All Pierce Denharco products are being manufactured in our Portland, Oregon facility. And of course, our extensive inventory will support parts sales as well as production units. In other words, we've got to have the parts you need!

To Valued Customers and Vendors;

Pierce Pacific Manufacturing, Inc. has completed the acquisition of certain assets of Denharco, Inc. of Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada. As part of the sale, Pierce Pacific Mfg. did not purchase Denharco as an ongoing business, nor did Pierce Pacific Mfg. assume any liabilities.

The company will operate in Canada as Pierce Denharco, Inc. division of Pierce Pacific Mfg, Inc. In the United States, all continuing business for both Pierce products, as well as Denharco products, will be conducted with Pierce Pacific Manufacturing, Inc.

Pierce Denharco, Inc. of Canada will maintain a parts distribution location in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec and Edmonton, Alberta. Pierce Pacific Manufacturing, Inc. will also maintain a distribution location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in addition to its manufacturing and parts location in Portland, Oregon.

Our immediate effort with this acquisition will be to re-establish adequate inventory levels of service parts at all locations as quickly as possible. We expect to provide Pierce Denharco and Pierce Pacific Manufacturing customers with levels of post sale and technical support in a manner consistent with our current customer’s high level of expectation.

Denharco products have had superior brand recognition throughout North America as well as an excellent quality reputation. We intend to preserve that product integrity by continuing to use the high quality parts and vendor relationships that have existed in the past. Pierce has retained key employees from Denharco. Names and responsibilities are Yannick Lapointe, Robert Blevens, Brad Loehr, Steeve Charest and Kieth Gauverau in Sales and Product Support; Chris Webber, Nancy-Ann Falby and Lucie Dansereau in Parts Sales; Dominic Tremblay in Design & Engineering; as well as Andre Saidon in Information Technology.

Pierce Denharco and Pierce Pacific Mfg, Inc. intend to offer the full line of Denharco products for sale in the near future. All future finished (whole-goods) product manufacturing will take place at the Pierce Pacific Manufacturing facilty in Portland, Oregon.

Pierce Pacific Manufacturing and Pierce Denharco will make our best effort assist any customer that may have been hindered by the recent Denharco closure.
